Most notable is the site by Friends of Ferguson Heritage which lists Ferguson tractors from 1946 to 1964 i.e. TE20 Mf35 and MF65.

Registration and engine numbers for early Fordsons
( mainly American) can be found at

There is also a Canadian site owned by Denis Rouleau which gives Fordson numbers and dates from 1929 to 1948. This period covers most British Standards and E27N Majors.

John Deere.. John Deere
John Deere Publications published a paperback entitled "John Deere 1918-1976" some time around 1980. This book lists all John Deere models and numbers from the Waterloo Boy of 1918 up to the 4520 introduced in 1969.

AMERICAN TRACTORS

An extensive site with lots of information on most makes of American tractor. Models and numbers can be found by selecting the manufacturer from the list i.e. MM and then going to "Information" which has a section on numbers.
